Antistia (fl. 80 bce)

Roman woman. Fl. 80 bce; dau. of Publius Antistius; became 1st wife of Gnaeus Pompeius Strabo, also known as Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus or Pompey the Great (106–48 bce, Roman general and consul), in 86 bce (div. c. 83 bce). Pompey was also married to Aemilia (d. c. 81 bce); Mucia; Julia (d. 54 bce); and Cornelia (c. 75–after 48 bce).
